in 911 the explosions were designed to take out First Responders. So the charges that were set were to trap and destroy, timed.

Also there is the threat of chemical weapons being used. This could happen with the initial explosion of delivered by drones at the scene afterward.

Many are trying to say this was a "gas" accident... it was not that simple.

Listening to the live feed their are all kinds of ludicrus speculations about the gas theory, they don't know how that all works lol.
They pulled a bleeding fireman across the street on a trolley so something is different with this.

Bleeding fireman? Wonder how that happened as they were not on the scene for the explosion, I do not believe.

It was on the live feed Pooka, he was on the trolley and you could see his protective gear same as the guys pushing him through all the reporters. That is why i asked why the emergency services are so far from the scene hf

On another note - I have been to several gas explosions in my time, and many gas fires..... having now seen the pics from the scene this looks like no explosion i have ever dealt with a a gas emergency 1st responder for 16yrs! It really does look like any other car bombing type of situation from pics on the news etc.
I have attended explosions and fires with fatalities on numerous occasions. That said, every situation is different - i just think it is very suspect that no one knew gas was leaking because looking at that it would have to have been leaking for a long time and even then, i never attended a scene where more than the single property affected was ruined.
That is from my good experience on the issue, not a service guy who turns off at meter but the guys who digs up to disconnect when fire is burning etc cos the fire service will NOT enter a gas present building (I am not talking shit). I know theirs another guy from USA that has similar experience and maybe he will chip in?

In Russia we have whole 9-12 story concrete building blocks collapse after a gas explosion. The power of natural gas can be quite astonishing, if mixed right with air? Here's an image from the most recent explosion. [link to s16.stc.all.kpcdn.net (secure)] Old gas equipment poses a very huge threat over here in Russia. As well as negligence.
