So often those who are wrong spout falsehoods and spread false information so then some lame face to face with someone who knows can yell ignorant falsehoods in your face.

"That's assault!" that's Assault!" when its not.

Get it right, that is brandishing, and in some states not as bad as others, he feared for his life, he used his gun like it was meant to be used to diffuse a situation before it escalated without firing a single bullet. Seems like this situation turned out exactly like it should have.

in fact I have had to do this more than once here in AZ. I never leave home without my iron on my hip, market, gas station, event, club run, all of it armed at all times.

It happened in real life to me.

I was driving from seeing my daughter in the hospital ... some guy cut me off at the exit ramp. Driving like a maniac - forced me off the road.

I started yelling at him ... he pointed a gun at me.

I couldn’t get his license plate ... you never know what you are dealing with.

No Shit--does not mean it has not happened thousands of times. The millions of times firearms are used (without actually firing) by law abiding citizens in protection of homes and property are difficult to film, because the criminals won't cooperate with the film crew.

The video is all staged to begin with, so there's that for starters.

If the scenario were real, the guy who pulled the gun would be going to jail. Anyone who knows anything about concealed carry laws knows this.

The guy's life was not threatened in any way whatsoever, and was not in immediate life threatening danger. It is called brandishing a weapon, and is a crime.

You are wrong, sorry. It crosses the line from brandishing to assault once you actually point the gun in the direction of another person.

I know this because years ago I actually had someone point a shotgun at me from their car. The fool, in his desire to prove his manhood, forgot we were in heavy traffic and the reason we were in heavy traffic due to a bad accident in front of us...it also escaped his brain that about 15 cops were in front of us.....lets just say the old boy was met with cops behind their cars, guns drawn....he got a very warm welcome.

The cops asked me if he just waved it around or if he actually pointed it at me. They explained at that time the reason they were asking the question. It goes to what they are charging the punk with.

That was not assault with a deadly weapon by any stretch of the imagination. Right or wrong per the 2nd, we have carry laws because of shit like this.

Staged or not, the loudmouth idiot verbally threatened and a case could be made that he used intimidation with a deadly weapon via his car. The guy retorted with his finger and then opted to show the loudmouth idiot that he was armed. Enter awesome breaking, lol.

Since when is merely seeing a gun as a self defense measure assault?

Yes, I understand the ramifications of not having a permit but the ramifications of giving our rights away is a far worse deed. I also understand that it's too late now because the lot of you didn't fight back.
