now that rock and roll is a rest home
I'd like to talk about the most exciting show I ever saw: VIO-lence at The Stone in 1987. I was from Fremont and was scared to death, it was my first metal show. I was still 16 I think.

If you need some good metal, check out "Eternal Nightmare" not every song is good, but there are some classics.

I was VIO-lence again later, at The Omni in Oakland for their second tour, it was right before Demmel left I think, or Flynn, i forgot who, But they were stellar.

Later in life, in 2003 I went to Motorhead/Dio/Iron Maiden and saw Killian there, he didn't look to good.

I'll never forget the show opening at The Stone, Killian sang facing straight up like he was yelling at God. It was fucking awesome, Deen Dell was a great bassist too.
