I honestly believe your perception is right, he was cremated for that purpose,

all evidence has gone Mr Blair is in the clear, he converts to Christianity probably makes his confession

in hope that's it, I've washed my hands of that incident

and I'm in the clear .............well Mr Blair I don't think it works like that.

And just an after-thought, I wonder who was desecrating

that grave, .... people will wonder if it was done on purpose!!!
