I can't see Trump NOT giving some kind of speech on the 29th, even if to spite them.

If I were him I'd give the State of the Union speech anyways and let that image of an empty 'speakers' chair SPEAK volumes as to how the Demoncrats aren't doing their jobs and yet still getting paid.

The State Of The Union Speech is the same in concept as the Speech from the Throne in countries like Canada and Britain. It marks the opening of a session of the legislature.

So, if they won't let him do the State Of The Union speech, adjourn both Houses until the Speaker will.

He has the grounds to adjourn both houses as Pelosi has stated that a security problem exists.
