I don't blame idiot celebrities - only those who care anything about them. THAT is the actual problem.

That’s my point. Many people do care and I don’t get why if you’re referring to me. They are in positions where they influence many people.
I think all people are impressionable but it varies by subject. eg I myself am influenced by people who create, hence my love of music, or those who push the boundaries of knowledge like Tesla & Euler. So too, I try and emulate by pushing myself to learn more and create. I might be missing the point to their appeal, but to me Kardashians influence NPC's, Narcissists & conceited types.
