Definitely a decline in insects here in Australia. It is rare now to see a butterfly or a bee. No christmas beetles this year, there were literally hundreds when I was a kid.
So sad.

In my personal experience insects are as aplenty as they always have been. Bees seem to have actually increased in number over the last 3 years, contrary to what I have read.
