The EU has said the withdrawal agreement cannot be changed, especially the backstop. So May's just going through the motions pretending a different deal is possible when the EU has already said it is not. The hard brexit cannot be avoided except by a vote in parliament to delay it and the British government has not got a reason good enough to make the EU agree to an extension. |

The EU and Theresa May, along with her civil servants, seem to have intentionally created a complicated mess with a view to ultimately being unable to deliver on the UK not fulfilling the 'Leave the EU' instruction given to them by 52% of the voting public. This will not end well for the main political parties in the UK! A desire to remain outside of the media game show is necessary if one wishes to retain independence of thoughts and actions. |
