That's how you get to orbit. The fact it turns around, nulls its horizontal velocity and then comes back to land next to where it started proves very much that it did indeed have thrust in space.

The other video is an open source simulation, an in silico experiment based on very simple physics. The source code is right there, so if there's something wrong with it, it's up to you to show where.
Quoting: Dr. Deplorable Astromut What if it never went to space and just came back down? Quoting: Balance242 Wow, thanks for proving you didn't even watch the damn video. You're willfully ignorant, you're not even looking at what I'm showing. You really don't get it. Quoting: Dr. Deplorable Astromut I didn’t see the rocket go into space on the actual footage. You’re just saying they did Quoting: Balance242 No, you didn't watch the damn video, you're not even paying attention to what I'm showing you. I wasn't even talking about the second stage of the rocket or the fact that I did track it in space with another telescope. That WASN'T EVEN MY ARGUMENT! THE ENTIRE POINT I WAS MAKING WAS ABOUT THE PART THAT DID COME BACK FROM SPACE YOU FUCKING MORON! You've completely proven you're not interested in the truth and you're not willing to examine the evidence. You're a willful idiot.
