I know this will be difficult for some of you to understand, but the ball was thrown behind the receiver. He had zero chance of catching that ball. This means that the defender cannot impede his ability to field the ball for a completion. Therefore, a pass interference call cannot be made. So, tell me armchair referees of GLP, what should the call of been? Interference? Sorry, that's hockey. Regardless, saying a "missed call" would of changed the outcome of the game is silly. Do you have any idea how many missed calls occur during a regulation NFL game? Please. Let's be honest, the game was lost when Brees threw the duck up for the interception. Rams won the game fair and square. Refs miss and make bad calls all the time. Get over it.
Quoting: CYGNUS X1 You're an idiot, it was clear interference on a very catchable ball and it was also a clear helmet to helmet which should have been a 15 yard penalty regardless, and yes this purposely missed call completely changed the outcome of the game. Quoting: Dawgg How so? Saints kicked a field goal to take a 3 point lead with time running out. You're not assuming that a 15 yard penalty would have resulted in a Saints touchdown, are you?
