I’m single and happy to stay that way. I’ve had my share of abuse and men using me for sex and money. I’m better off alone and I intend to stay that way if and until a man of God is given to me by the Almighty.

You're right except for one thing. It's not good for man to be alone. We were not meant to be celibate. It may be nice for a while, and men and women do need to spend some time apart from each other while in a relationship, but in the end I don't think we are meant to be living solo.

I’m 32 and married and basically have women beating down my door trying to get me to cheat with them. My wife’s friends, my sisters friends, women at work, at restaurants. There’s no lack of available women, your likely putting out some bad signals (depressed, poor, low self esteem, low confidence, sloppy looks or just bad genetics) any of those things will turn most women off.

If you ever want a good confidence boost if it’s been a while try not jerking off for two or three weeks. The results will be amazing

Maybe it is your area. I live in the Midwest United States and I am a single female with no children. I am not dating anyone and haven't for over two years by choice.

There is a definite lack around here of "acceptable" men to date. By "acceptable", I mean men who are Christian, live independently (not with their parents), have a full-time job, and are fairly well adjusted.

Is it easy for a woman to get into a relationship? Yes. Is it easy for a woman to get into a quality relationship? Not in my experience.

I have been to many countries in Africa, Middle-East and Asia. Its very clear there are huge numbers of excess males there. Also extremely unsafe for girls and women.

Being an older woman, I would like to add my own observations to this thread.

Baggage: If we live and interact with other human beings, life happens and baggage does pile up. A person with no baggage is a person who hasn't been fully engaged in life. The important part about this is, what is done with the baggage. A smart and mature woman will put her baggage up in storage where it belongs. An emotionally immature woman will have it strewn all over where she is constantly tripping over it and so is anybody who is within her sphere. If baggage means children, then yes. Many of us have that 'baggage', men and women. We call them our family.

Lack of women: Let's get the truth out there and stop with the bullshit. There are so many lovely ladies out there. You would think that lonely men who aren't Chad or Brad would try to find out the personality and intellect of a woman if that's what's so important. Pffft. Time for a reality check. Men look for younger, slim, 'hot' women (and then complain that they're crazy and slutty.....which y'all probably knew PDQ but were thinking with your little head). They say, "Why should I lower my standards?" Well, same goes for the ladies, cupcake. Why should we lower our standards and accept a guy who can barely pay the rent and imagines himself so much more intellectually superior than everybody else? This is both a biological urge as well as common sense. We have the children, we need a man who can provide, and when he is home, he is glad to be with his loved ones. Bonus points if the provider can make us laugh.

Judging a book by its cover means that you're going to miss out on some awesome reads.....and some real duds, but that's life with humans. It's messy and irritating and sometimes quite wonderful. Some people can't handle that, and that's okay.....just don't pass the blame onto the entire gender.
