Well thats the problem. In the past the younger women would have been going after the older men due to increased stability, ability to provide for, matured attitude, and wanting of starting a family.

Modern society has twisted young womens minds into seeing older men as creeps instead of serious stable potential mates.

So those young women chase after younger men (who have no intent of relationships or family or commitment ). Their expectations keep getting more and more outrageous with each new generation. Therefore those women keep getting pumped and dumped over and over again until they form bitter attitudes and outlooks towards men. By the time they are in their 30's it becomes too late to obtain what they were really seeking because they do no want the older men, while being old themselves. So they go on chasing their younger years by continuing the pumping and dumping of younger men, then when the biological clock runs out .... its too late. When that happens they lie to themselves and say "Oh I never wanted kids or a family, and I wanted to end up like this" .... meanwhile they taking loads of psych meds, having a collection of ______ (insert name of type of pet or animal that compensates for kids and family), and doing tons of therapy to deal with their missed out deep down want.
