If a Chinese sub had been sunk we'd most certainly know.

I can't believe people are taking this seriously.

How would you know?...their is a dark war going on. Chinese tried to nuke Hawaii did they cover it up?...see PLA red army is at war with us and it's being covered up to save the economy...

You better believe that the american people will be the last to know if something like this happened.

I have no clue if the alleged incident happened. However, considering the saber rattling from the Chicoms, it is quite plausible.

I have been privy to info that was once classified or simply forgotten.

These types of incidents have happened repeatedly and the general public sometimes NEVER finds out.

For example, I have an elderly friend. His father was an active duty US Navy Chief. In 1939, his father was leading Chinese troops in China fighting the Japanese. Who ever heard that we were attacking the Japanese 2 years before Pearl Harbor? I'll bet the Japanese knew exactly what was going on.

In the late 1960s, there were numerous incidents in the Indian Ocean where Soviet ships were alleged to try and ram US Navy ships. I was told by one of my profs at West Point, an active duty naval officer who was there, that in fact, it was the US Navy trying to ram the Soviet ships. My naval prof said it was all about getting a bigger budget for the Indian Ocean fleet.

How many terrorist camps did we hit in places like Libya where we never said a thing and the embarrassed Libyans never said anything either? This happened many times.

I am improving my preps. We peasants have no control over world events.

so, we took out 2 of their subs?
 Quoting: Colloidal Peanut Butter

Probably, neither side would admit to this as the economy is fragile on both ends and China’s military has only begun to catch up to the USA. Honestly 10 more years they may be able to go toe to toe but for now it would be suicide.

China doesn't have that many and I highly doubt they are willing to commit mass suicide at this time.

All I get from a Bing search (Bing!) of "Chinese submarine sunk" is this article from The National Interest: In 2003, a Chinese Submarine May Have Sunk for a Terrifying Reason: Crew Suffocation

Not saying OP is bullshitting, but the article itself is interesting.

the only verification you will possibly hear is a declaration of war by one side or the other
 Quoting: Jake

That hardly seems likely. I mean something should leak out. It always does.

Well....IF this is true, in the next day, we will be a full scale war.

In the meantime, I'm going to remain completely skeptical.

Jake, I read scripture every day. Literally. Gog and Magog, in my opinion are Russia and China. I'm not skeptical about scripture at all.

Just this report. Because if the US did that, there is zero doubt there will be full on war.
 Quoting: Fluffy Pancakes

China doesn't want war with the US. But they're pissed. Hard to tell if this is true. Need to cross reference this with everything you can get your hands on. The subject is a joke, but the post sound realistic.

From the same article: "The Chinese government is not disposed to transparency regarding its military accidents. For example, it does not release the results of its investigations into jet fighter crashes and it never publicly acknowledged earlier submarine accidents."

From what I understand, the US military practices extraterritoriality. Meaning it doesn't recognize the laws of any other country when it comes to rules of engagement, because the US military rules the world.

I once worked for a retired navy admiral. This is back during the first gulf war. What the public does not know would blow their mind. We were sinking ships all over the place in the run up to the war.

Every time something made the news or the intelligence channels, this retired admiral would always say "the oceans are big and deep... and the US navy never forgets". And I know for a fact that SOB never forgot. Anyone that crossed him eventually got sunk.

I think the US really does appreciate the whole "Rule of Law" of thing. They uphold the rules which were laid down in the age of empires.

But now the US has inherited these Western rules, and China is trying to lay down new rules: "tianxia".

I don’t give a flying fart if you guys/galls believe me or not, and I’m sorry to disappoint the doomtards, but it did not happen, period. This intel is 99.9% accurate, and will be confirmed as late as 1600 hrs european time (apprx. 10hrs and 15 minutes from this post). Because there is always room for error, you may consider the 99.9% to be 100% for civilians.

Re: The U.S. has SUNK a Chinese Submarine in the Sea of Japan
I wonder if the US ship was following the same submarine cable that the USS Fitzgerald was following before it was involved in a collision in the SCS.

From BEZERK -
Another interesting rabbit hole I went down regarding the BS-64 is an obscure reference I found to her whilst looking into any of the world's naval vessels that had ever suffered total power losses, and whether the USS Fitzgerald's strange collision and cover up may have been because it had been dead in the water. (attacked by a Chinese r-EMP weapon.)

That whole deal about the Fitz' not seeing, or having it's radar jammed, or in operation hasnt gelled with folks in the know, and more and more, it looks like the vessel suffered a complete shut down, the same fate/demonstration the HMS Astute faced.

So that being said, why was the Fitz' where it was in the first place? Using AIS Vessel Finder, you can plot vessels, and they have a time slider function, much like G/E. You can change the map type between surface vessel finder and 'nautical map'.

In Nautical Map mode, it provides a lot more information on terrain and especially obstacles that would be important to ALL kinds of shipping using an area.

One such obstacle is a sub surface cable. A submarine cable.

If you follow said cable and then look at the course of the Fitz' and they are almost identical for a few hours. So why would the Fit'z be tracking along the cable? Likely it was tracking a sub that was following the cable, or a smaller sub that was following or perhaps even hacking the cable?

Those with a good memory will immediately see a few key words leap out of all that.

I know much of our interest centered on the French subs, but it was the Russian subs with the calibrators and the specialist equipment.

This equipment might be out in the light now? Were cables cut/hacked/grafted? Was the Fitz' hit with an r-EMP weapon?

Interesting stuff. Feels like old times.

What makes Americans think they have the right to behave like the 'World Police'? They were never elected or ordained as such, yet the American military forces itself into any country it wants to.

If you're in somebody else's house, you play by THEIR rules. To do otherwise, just because you have a bigger gun than them, is criminal.

God is watching... And He sees ALL crimes. America is not 'special' to God or 'favored' in any way. And no, America does NOT rule the world, and such prideful beliefs will lead to a fall eventually... It's already happening. Romans once thought they 'ruled the world' LMAO...
