been working with auto repair shops for 30 years.
the wiper arm spring has never been an issue.
Quoting: Vasily It will stretch the spring and it will lose some of the ability to hold the blade on the window. People, will never know that it has stretched any and will never know that it does not work as well as it did before. That is IMO. Easy to never have to raise it anyway with my block of wood suggestion. Maybe a expert on these springs has a better opinion.
