Another TIP:
Some states require you to clean off the entire car. A long time ago I did not clean the roof. Slow for a light and all that snow slides down on the windshield. Now you have to get out and remove the snow and the light is green. Never use the wipers to move heavy snow off the window as it can break the mechanism.
I have also seen people not check to see if the blades were frozen and stye just turn them on. It destroyed the rubber. Getting lazy can cause a lot of problems.
Quoting: Ascension Now Lightweight. I use my hand to brush away just enough to see out the driver's side of windshield. Proceed to my route in 4wd and once on the road mash the throttle until enough windspeed is generated so the snow blows off. 4wd powersliding back and forth on the snow covered road just for fun during this process is optional.
