Kinda this...I don't know of a personal drone (i.e. DJI)...that can go 3500ft UP.

they might be new laws on drones soon that if you want to have any type drone you will have to get a pilot license and will study and take a test to get it.

they will also have to do a background check before you get the license.

a cheap Parrot AR Bebop 1 ($150)drone can go well over a mile using the optional controller with a better antenna.
They can also be programmed to fly anywhere using onboard GPS without any control from the ground

Its an airport, who cares about silence. I prefer to deal with problems like this with fire or bullets.

If it's a false flag, it could also be the folks trying to sell anti-drone technology to airports.
