I think the true problem with it is that 95+% of those I've seen...

A) Screw it up in the first place and therefore jack up the hair royally.

B) Then there's zero possibility of styling and "fixing" it into anything attractive...and compound that with a shitty haircut in the first place.

C) Then, it's very likely that it's "old" washed out and growing out...making it all look even more fucked. NONE I've seen look right or professionally righteous...it's usually KRAP from Walgreens of the lowest end.

My mom does hair and worked her way up to high-end, high-ticket work and I've seen trade mags and imagery...and because of that, those I've seen look for shit.

It's big bucks to have it righteous...and those that "mimic" do NOT get it. Major duh. You can't teach "class and sophistication".
