What is wrong with being liberal.

In recent years liberals have turned hypocrisy into a mental disorder. Their egos keep them in denial.

Maybe not the exact same- but at least as good, or perhaps even better. The fundamentals to work with should stay the same. Now we have actual communists who openly advocate doing away with the Constitution and totally "redistributing wealth", and members of the Muslim Brotherhood in office- saying they hate Whites, saying publically that our President is a motherfuck3r. People in power say we don't need borders and flood us with foreigners with no let up. My grandparents didn't have all that in front of their faces- though behind the scenes it was revving up. Now tptb are blatant about it.

LIBERALS ARE THE KIND OF PEOPLE THAT LEAVE RED KARMA BUT DON'T SIGN IT.

The problem with that is people of the left enter the middle of society holding the idea that default liberalism - theirs and others - is the way humans should be, must be. So if one is not of the left, he/she therefore isn't a kind, caring, sophisticated person.

Of course, they don't give a shit if their liberalism results in misery, cruelty, dishonesty, a lack of ethics, a lot of inhumanity. Just tapping into one's liberal feelings, "progressive" biases is all that matters to people of the left.

That's why you'll never find rightwing/conservative versions of a Hillary/Bill Clinton, a goddamn-America Barack Obama, a Harvey Weinstein or George Soros. Maybe in Hollywood fiction such sleazy conservatives exist and are beloved by other conservatives. But not in reality.

Because Liberals not all but many force their views on you. When you politely debate them but are pretty strong on where you stand you get called racist sexist. Any ist there is out there. As soon as you say you voted Trump you get told go to hell you are everything he is. I don't mind a debate but the first time I get called disgusting names get told I should get cancer and die then I can't go any further. I have friends who are liberal and I have no issue with it. The issue like I said I have is that I am garbage because of the views I have instead of meeting in the middle or at least agreeing to disagree. You get treated like garbage and told to F off left and right. If its not the average person then its also people you at one time enjoyed listening to or seeing. You can only take so much of being told your a piece of shit before you walk away and stop bothering

I used to be a left-leaning liberal since 90s, OP. Guess what made me walk away?

The intolerance.

Sure, almost anything is tolerated. Bizarre sex (still don't have a problem with it), gays (no problem), decriminalization of drugs (still don't have a problem with it), anti-war (I'm all for it), a social security safety net (still don't have a problem with it as long as it makes you want to get employed), and so on.

What is NOT tolerated is dissent and alternative thinking in politics. I got attacked by my peers for daring to suggest that social security should make people want to work, for drawing the line at unvetted or illegal immigration which should not be tolerated, and insisting that we engage in dialogue with the opposition instead of just ridiculing them in a sophomoric fashion and shutting them up.

I was told I was cruel (for expecting people to try to get a job), racist (for not letting just anyone in), and weak (for listening to and tolerating conservative opinions).

That was the trifecta that made my presence unwelcome in those circles.

So, don't talk to me about how tolerant the liberals are.

Well, the "liberals" in the US embrace Muslims- who throw homosexuals off buildings. Can you explain that? Also, I consider Venezuela to be communist and I don't think they were concerned with homosexuality. The Soviet Union was kind of a mixed bag? More places than not had laws against homosexuality until a few decades ago.
