Previous Venezuela president didn't invite Russia or China to open a military base in Venezuela. Maduro got some bad advices about giving Russia and China military bases in Venezuela.


Russians were willing to waste billions after billions dollars in Maduro's oil company in exchange for Russia military bases on Venezuela because Cubans won't let Russians open military bases in Cuba.

This is a big NO-NO to US. If Maduro were a happy communist like his previous boss, we wouldn't have this problem now.

Maduro owns this problem and he is paying for it with his life.

If Maduro were in control of his military and police , Cubans wouldn't send 20.000+ soldiers for him and Russians and Chinese wouldn't send hundred advisers for him.

Cubans send 20k of their troops cause the alliance is strong and based on respect.

The other side though can't muster anything but mercenaries and payed hools on bikes. Brazil won't send their army, Bolivia don't want anything to do with it either, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama they all refused.

But regarding Cubans, Maduro knows very well he is going against whole western world not just USA. Any outside help is crucial for victory. Chinese with financial support, Russians with technical and weaponry support and Cubans with human resources. Alliance strong as steel, Guaido on other side can rely only on agitations and provocations, like yesterday. Even his strongest and loudest ally USA don't dare to intervene openly with its army. This USA calvary coming to get him was going on few months ago already and the cavalry never came. Cavalry is not coming because USA are not dumb, they know when there's a risk involved and they will not launch an offensive unless they are certain in quick win.
