Absolutely. So long as the USA is determined to further destabilize Venezuela with their support of Guaido and the coup plotters then expect refugees and a massive increase in immigrants making their way to the US.

This is capitalism. Do you really believe that before Hugo Chaves that kind of house did not exist? Almost all of Latin America is like that. Impossible to believe that you have never seen photos from Rio de Janeiro ...

I noticed how much of the media's coverage of yesterdays mass public turn out in Venezuela was spun as being just mass protest against Maduro. Obviously there were many there who were against Maduro, but a bit of balance in the presentation wouldn't have gone amiss, by at least explaining that the marches are an annual event, a public holiday where each year hundreds of thousands of people, both pro, anti government (and I'm sure just people enjoying the public holiday mixing with other Venezuelans) take to the streets. Instead, even in Twitter, it seemed that every piece of video footage, and every photo of masses of people, was being presented as if every one of those people were against Maduro. That's how it seemed to me at least.
