I wish Nicolas Maduro and his top advisors a long, quiet retirement, living on a nice beach somewhere far from Venezuela. They should take advantage of President Guaido’s amnesty and move on. The sooner the better.

The US/Guaido-led protests from yesterday turned out to be a damp squib. The momentum (of what little there was to begin with) is rapidly being lost. I wouldn't be surprised to see a trigger in the next couple of days for the US to attempt to justify an intervention in Venezuela.
