Let Venezuela solve their own problems.

If the government collapses, then good. Something will always fill the void. If the emerging government aligns with the US, then support can be afforded. If not, then fuck off.

If the situation deteriorates into civil war, then to the victor take the spoils. Congratulations, now you have a whole new problem to solve and a nation to heal. If the new regime aligns with the US then help may be afforded. If not, then fuck off.

If warfare breaks out and spreads towards an allied border, then the warfare will be contained as per agreements. Fuck you with a bullet at that point.

I still think that the situation with a failed Venezuela, other shit hole failures of shit hole countries, and the exodus of shit hole people heading to the US will eventually evolve into a general state of warfare across most of South and Central America. The line will be held in Mexico where American forces will be used to take out the Cartels and bolster the Mexican defense. Cuba will also be contained. Russia will play proxy war, but will pull out when it gets too hot and turn on their pawns.
