You must have dozens of resources that you use to help others understand whats taking place down there.. so how about it.. enlighten us big mouth.. just so you know all this above is what you call polite sarcasm.. but this isn't..go back to beating off while watching cnn or whatever flakes like you do. I'm subscribed to Florida Maquis in you tube, and watch his videos, but must admit I was a bit disappointed with him about a month ago.

He made a video saying that photos from one of the Juan Guaido rallies were photoshopped, that people had been added into the photos to make Guaido look more popular than he really is. He compared two photos (presenting them as being from the same Guaido rally) and he pointed out the differences between the photos, and said that these differences were due to doctoring of the photos. That video has had just under 20,000 views, and has a lot of people praising him in the comments for pointing out the photoshopping.

I thought I would look into this myself, to see what else I might be able to find, and actually with the intention of proving Florida Maquis correct. But I ended up finding out he was mistaken. It didn't take me long to find that the photos in question were actually from two different rallies, and this was why there were differences in the photos. To be honest, I was quite surprised he'd made such a basic error, of not first establishing the dates each of the photos were taken on. I made a video about what Id found, and after making it, I sent it to him, I also commented beneath his video, letting him know he'd made a mistake, but I never heard back from him

At first, I gave benefit of the doubt, that perhaps he hadn't seen my comments (though Im pretty sure he saw the video I made, because I sent it to him personally) but later I noticed that my comments had gone from beneath his video. It was this that really disappointed me, the idea that he may have deleted them.

Anyway, I hoped he might take his video down, or admit the mistake (because a lot of people took what he said to be the truth). I think when you're putting out information, especially when lots of people are watching your videos, it's good to admit mistakes when you make them (after all, we all make mistakes sometimes) and people only think better of you when you do, but he didn't, and the video is still there for people to see.

Pacifica, i agree completely with your viewpoint on righting of wrongs made.and the vibe i get off of your words tells me you're a genuine individual. But sometimes it's easier for some people to keep moving forward with a purpose in mind than it is to stop and correct every mistake made or clearing up every misconception had. Especially if a person is constantly trying to process volumes of information. Of course errors will be made but i do see what you mean. It should've been addressed once he was made aware of his folly. But can't hold it against the message, I've seen several other uploaders do the same thing as you've described. But it's up to us to sift thru the dirt in hopes of finding gold no matter where we look or from who we hear it. At this point in time on the world stage and the situation in Venezuela fomenting to a volatile state. I'd much rather look/listen and differentiate for myself in order to find the truth of what's going on. If it's something i come across and i believe it's junk is automatically out and I'm then on to the next. Truth is rare but that's what makes it so valuable. And worth searching for.. much respect..

I agree, and I still watch his videos. But yeah, it's up to us, the viewer, to check things out for ourselves sometimes. Although I appreciate not everyone has the time or inclination to do that. What puzzled me was that beneath the video he made, he provides links to each of the Reuters photos in question, but when you click on those links, it just shows each of the photos on its own, rather than as it appears in the Reuters articles (each article has a different date - they're two weeks apart - so its easy to see they're from different events). Anyway, if you'd be interested to see it, here's the video I made, and I've given the links beneath to the photos/articles. My video hardly has any views, as I don't have anywhere near the amount subscribers he has!

Thanks! I'm small fry compared to someone like FM, and I know he's doing way more than I am to inform people, but just thought I'd make that video to show what I found in that one particular case. I'm definitely not a supporter of Guaido or this U.S. instigated coup.

I used to have another channel, a couple of years ago, which had many more subscribers, but that channel - along with so many others - was deleted during the You Tube purge in the last couple of years.

It's been crazy seeing many channels I used to watch, that are just not there any more. Must admit I was quite discouraged when my other channel was deleted, I had that channel for years, and lost lots of videos I didn't have back-ups of, and even now, I know that their new alagorithms make videos on certain topics (like 9/11 truth for instance) much less prominent in search results and recommended videos. You tube definitely aint what it used to be!

Anyway, don't want to get too off topic (excuse me OP)

The International Monetary Fund is ready to rescue Venezuela's economy, but the task will be so huge that it will require financial help from other international players, the head of the body said Thursday.
