This also..I guess this is what is giving me anxiety..I lived very near Browns Ferry in Alabama in 2011..tornado took out two TVA towers and everyone within pretty much a 30?? mile or so radius didn't have power for a week. The local hospital transported at risk patients to other facilities. Pretty sure because of the whole nation being affected, places in Venezuela are not able to do this. The hospital and police department had generators, nowhere else.. P.D. took priority..hospital ran them only at night and allowed residents to stay there overnight and had officers from neighboring cities as security...slept on the floor of the lobby several nights..pretty sure this is not the case in Venezuela..during the day, neighbor was not fighting against neighbor. It was a very small rural town. The neighborhood got together, had cookouts..didnt have a grill, so I learned how to dig a fire pit and make coffee and cook outdoors using a rack from my electric oven. We only had a quarter tank of gas and held onto it.. others had tried to go places..everything shut down within like I said for a 30 or so mile radius. Also roads were closed the first day or two due to damage. Only emergency vehicles allowed in or out..Our house was shifted off its foundation. I am very grateful I lived where I lived...we stuck together, as small towns tend to do. My anxiety comes from "yeah, this happenned..I was in a small town where everybody knew everybody..it was difficult, we made it.. but what if this happened to the whole US??".. lessons learned..I would bet even most larger cities here don't have much in the way of backup power or even a backup plan. Why I'm getting my stuff together.....finalizing a backup plan.

Spooky is effective against any crowd of personnel. Venezuela's air force is a joke, they have 32 SU-30's and 16 F-16's. A Single Nimitz-class aircraft carrier is more than capable of neutralizing Venezuela's entire air defense not even taking into account the support aircraft located at American bases in the region. Let's just pray it doesnt come to that.

Sorry, didnt mean to get off topic.. just trying to relate..empathize..seeing the things currently happening in Venezuela...just evokes memories of my own.. but I can't honestly imagine what is going on there...

In a week to 10 day's this kind of reporting will be a joke.
