Korea: there have several and repeated invasions by Chinese dynasties although it is various ethnic dynasties from China to invade them. The list started from Han conquest of Gojoseon, which Northern Korea went under Chinese subject for 400 years. The Goguryeo–Tang War turned Korea under Chinese subject for a shorter era, over 60 years until Dae Jo Young overthrew Chinese authorities and established Balhae. Some included Goryeo–Khitan War, Mongol invasions of Korea, Qing invasion of Joseon. Both of them were once referred as foreign invaders until 1911 when Sun Yat-sen considered them parts of Chinese history. The last conquest from China was Korean War which it successfully established a buffer nation named North Korea. Most Koreans are heavily resenting China due to repeat conquests from China to Korea although it differs from various dynasties as I have indicated.
2.Vietnam: Vietnam is like a cancer for China because of long history in war between two nations. Since the Qin's campaign against the Yue tribes, various Chinese dynasties invaded Vietnam. They successfully established 1.000 years of domination which it heavily influenced Vietnam in later history, only to get kicked out after Battle of Bạch Đằng (938). Chinese Empire saw Vietnam crucial not because of resources but because its location is a sea route trade and it is the heart of sea control in Asia. Taking Vietnam’d grant China full control of seas. So repeated invasions from China to Vietnam occurred. The Ming was the most successful after 1.000 years to re-dominate Vietnam until they were overthrown by Le Loi’s Lam Sơn uprising at 1427. Before that, Vietnamese also defeated the Mongols during Mongol invasions of Vietnam, which is still recorded as great achievement of Vietnamese military. The latest was Sino-Vietnamese War which ended indecisive however China suffered heavy military casualties that forced the whole Politburo of China to accept Deng Xiaoping’s reforms. Had China won this war, hardly there would be a reform.
3.India and Pakistan (prior to 1947 as British India): very rare but of course not always wonderful. While ancient China and India had no record of hostility, modern features showed a bad history. China was humiliated by India when India was still under British rule (Boxer Rebellion and British expedition to Tibet), the British expedition sometimes coined as Indian invasion to China although it largely occurred in Tibet which was under Qing China rule since most troops involved in this war were Indians. As independent nations, they fought two wars (Sino-Indian War and Nathu La and Cho La clashes), which both won 1 war and China was the invader in both conflicts.
4.Russia: both had imperial ambitions so wars between them could not be avoided. The Sino-Russian border conflicts at Qing Dynasty was a Chinese victory, but later defeats on the hand of European powers resulted with Russia’s reconquest following the Treaty of Aigun 1860. Since then, there was a lot of ambitions from China to retake, but it didn’t end well. China and USSR also fought in Sino-Soviet border conflict. In 2004, they resolved border conflict and both gave back lands to each others, thus ending border disputes.
5.Mongolia: Mongolia was traditionally viewed by China with suspicious, but China also planned to conquer Mongolia. Under Qing rule, Mongolia was under Chinese subject and later under Republic of China, the Chinese reconquered Mongolia after she declared independent, until Russian force drove Chinese troops out.
6.Japan: the Mongol invasions of Japan was the first, and perhaps, the only time China sought to invade Japan under Yuan Dynasty. Except for that, hardly we could find out any other Chinese attempts to re-invade Japan.
7.Myanmar/Burma: the Yuan First Mongol invasion of Burma was the first invasion from China to Burma. This invasion was successful in toppling Bagan dynasty. The Ming dynasty slowly drove the Burmese out of Yunnan and finally relinquished control of Burmese authority. The Qing Empire invaded Burma four times and got defeated all, but Burmese suffered a high casualties to win counting on number of population. Chinese KMT troops invaded Burma in hope using Burma as a safe route to overthrow People’s Republic of China.
8.Nepal: Nepal was invaded by Qing China at the Sino-Nepalese War as China was offered to assist Tibet. It was a failed invasion however China successfully forced Nepal to pay tributary for them and also absorbed Tibet well.
9.Taiwan: it is complicated. Taiwan was under Chinese rule at the Qing Empire following Koxinga’s Kingdom of Tungning’s defeat, however when Japan invaded the island, it made complex. Taiwan and China started hostility at 1951 when PLA Navy planned to conquer Taiwan, that lead the U.S. to deploy their fleet and threatened China with war. However, Taiwan’s question remains unclear.
10.Central Asia: I remember the war and invasions from Tang and Qing dynasties. They did invade these territory, but prior to late 20th century, they were not even forming any countries overall.
11.Indonesia: they did plan under the Yuan Dynasty, sending a naval expedition overall but the Yuan was defeated.

Two other topics are very complicated: Tibet and Xinjiang were actually once independent nations and they had a long history. However, Xinjiang, known as Turkestan, was conquered by Tang Empire until Tang’s demise. Both were later conquered at the Yuan and Qing Dynasties. The Qing dynasty put a heavy legacy that later the PRC sought to re-establish China’s border from the Qing. It worked. The Yunnanese Nanzhao Kingdom was also independent until toppled by the Mongols at 13th century. Since then, Chinese colonized the place. Manchuria located in Northern China was once heartland of Manchus but the establishment of Qing Dynasty finally made it integrated to China.

Therefore, with the name of 中国 throughout history of 2.200 years exist, China had invaded many neighbors. And it all started with the Qin Dynasty!
