Russia/China are losing billions in loans to Venezuela. Hence this extremely stupid “Poker move” in to US sphere of influence.

So then where do we in US go from here ?

Do nothing, let Russia move in to the neighborhood, and hang on to their Stooge. No doubt the Russians will milk it for all the PR it is worth. Claiming to have humiliated United States. Forced US to back off, a victory for Russia.

Trump has to act quickly, decisively, against Venezuela.
Russia presence in Venezuela means they are now directly interfering in the democratic process of Venezuela. Right there is the narrative needed for the Pentagon, US military, to justify their military action against Maduro. Not only that, US can impose more sanctions on Russia for “Yet again” interfering in the democratic process of another sovereign nation.Boot them off SWIFT.

US Cruise Missile attacks should be made against Maduro command, and control structure. Take out Maduro ability to govern Venezuela. This should include any TV stations being used by the Maduro regime. Leave only those that Guaido uses to speak to the masses.

Take out all the radar Bases, and any air defenses that represent a direct threat to USAF forces.Create chaos, once chaos is created Maduro days are numbered.

I suspect the Russians believe US Cruise Missile attacks are imminent and are transporting air defenses in to Venezuela as I write this.

In my opinion Trump should order these attacks as soon as tonight, or tomorrow night. Do not let the Russians get any foothold by establishing air defenses.

If taking out command and control structures, air defenses don’t work. Then you move on to electric and hydro-water plants. Limits civilian casualties.

Russia needs to be shown who is boss. No need for aNY direct confrontation.US can achieve all its objectives,and humiliate Russia by many other means it has at its disposal.

Trump plays his cards right here.He will guarantee another term as POTUS for sure.Humiliating Putin will shut everyone of his accusers up.
