Today I had to run out to the beach to see my doctor and accomplish a couple other errands. Stopped by the town grocery store where the meat is great and sales frequent.

Looked for Gby's three-minute pasta - none at all of any brand. They did have several Ronzoni pastas, but none fast cooking.

Interestingly, there are always carts in the front of the store of things on sale. I rarely get there any more but today was perfect.

Aluminum bottles of water, screw-top lids, alkaline water! Almost a quart for a dollar and a pint for fifty cents. I bought four large and two small. Seems like quite a find! Alkaline water has not been easy to find here, and it's the best thing for inflammations.

So we know not to cook in aluminum pots - how is it drinking water from aluminum bottles? Is the heating what makes the pans bad? So cold drinks are fine? Opinions, please.

Bottom line seems to be do not put in dishwasher, and verify whether lined or not. Lined is not good.
