My sis called...our nephew called & he's bringing all his kids to Easter...so she needs me to make something extra.

I cut up the meat from a rotisseri chicken, I measure out the water for the rice & add chicken bullion cubes to it. Add the white rice and the chicken...and about half way thru I add a can or 2 or campbels cream of chicken soup.

I don't blame those in power for this because some would panic. And it only takes one (or a few) to cause major chaos. Sure, you and I wouldn't panic...but enough would to cause major problems.

Alot of people don't understand that the fire dept. is not there to save your house...they are there to keep the fire from spreading to another house.

You don't get quarantined for YOUR protection...you get quarantined for EVERYBODY ELSES protection.

I went into my prep stash & pulled out a can of it which expired 4 years ago.

Ebola, it is now known, can stay in ejaculate for up to TWO YEARS!!!

This is a far scarier prospect than we had realized a few years ago, and this has great significance in those from African countries now entering our country.

In threads today about ebola, so many are saying incredibly stupid things, such as ebola doesn't exist, ebola can't get here, ebola is no big deal. Those are the people that will catch it and cause it to spread like wildfire, out of their stupidity and recklessness.

Time to underscore what I have been saying.

If you find it repetitious, take it in anyway. Nitrile gloves and N95 masks. Absolutely required.

Martial law will be instituted before ebola reaches epidemic stage here.

Thus I will tell you again - do not go outside your home in at least the first couple of weeks of martial law, while the guys and gals, new at this job, are feeling their oats and enforcing laws that don't exist, making life hard for those who are dumb enough to wander out. They likely will be arrested and not get home again. Stay inside until they have been settled down and are actually following the law.

When you do go out, send only the healthiest members of your tribe, and they must be well-dressed in the fashionable nitrile gloves and N96 masks. There is a specific protocol to undressing when home again and I will gladly share that with you when you are ready.

Nothing good will come of ebola, and now that we know the virus lives that long inside a man, there is little doubt it will find its way here. There may be some who would even send it this way. I hope not, but all things are possible.

Just take it seriously, trust those who have done the research, and do your part to protect yourselves and your families. Spread the word. Of course I have stated in earlier posts that to my knowledge from the last time ebola became an issue, and nowhere near here, the masks became very expensive and very hard to find. Waiting is a poor plan. You have not waited to prepare for whatever you see as the event when TSHTF, right? Please do not wait for ebola to be in your town!

When you can see what lies in store for us, the furthering of human potential is not their goal.

Yet, if you know, as I do, that God is actually in control - He has determined the end of the days of this earthly system, we know we can keep on going, because our enemies do not win. We will survive.

Evil will only be allowed to last so long, but of course we have very harsh things to experience first. Christians, before long, will be forced to take the Mark or will not be allowed to buy or sell. If we live that long, we may be digging a lot of roots! We need to have our own things on hand, but we don't know how long we will need them - probably longer than we can store enough.

I just believe we may be able to make it to the end, if we are careful and thoughtful and prayerful. If you are not a believer, please know I think no less of you. Just sharing my beliefs in how things may work.

Ebola would take us out in a heartbeat, if we are not exceedingly careful. I want us to be that careful. For every means by which "they" try to take us out, I want us to be aware and prepared.

The foundation of Integrated Skills Group, Understanding Emergencies is the lens through which we view every potential problem and find solutions.

This starts with a very harsh scenario:

You’re driving along a freeway, beginning onto an overpass when your steering wheel jolts. In a fraction of a second, the bridge gives way and the car dives nose-first into the river below. The car begins to fill with water.

Have you considered a situation like this? Can you open your door or window in such a situation? Do you know how the car's weight will affect how it sinks? Elements such as this all play into your ability to survive, and it starts with a finite amount of breathable oxygen. If you're able to escape the sinking vehicle, you'll be cold and wet. In this example, rescue is probably not far away, but you must act quickly and decisively to not succumb to the lack of oxygen, or to die from exposure.

There are three sections, longish, with great information on types of emergencies and what is needed and how to handle them. Excellent information - highly recommended for thinking and preparing and being aware.
