You mentioned washing in the other topic on beans. What you would do is eventually rig up something like this. You could take the motor out of your dryer and use that for a windmill to make electricity to change a battery. And you could use a bicycle and a gear box to agitate the old washing machine.
This is a fairly standard 55 gallon plastic drum on its side to agitate the clothes.
They make one for 3rd world villages that is smaller so it uses less water. You would a wringer versus trying high speed centrifugal force.
Any journeyman craftsman should be able to rig up something.
Save that greywater as you can use that in the garden from the final rinse. That water could be used for lots of jobs like for flushing toilets.
