I watched a very terrible documentary about the aftermath of WWII in Europe.
How vengeful the citizens and military were to Germans and anybody who spoke German. To anyone that was "the enemy".

It was unimaginable what they did to women and children.
The hatred was inhuman. It was amplified by a furious rage that seem to be demonic.
It was so hard to hear the stories and see the photography.

I had trouble believing that humans were capable of this distorted behavior.

The Nazi's were cruel and sadistic. But so were the soldiers of other nations in that war.

The war damage in human terms was and still is so enormous that most people want to forget it.
The nightmare of reality continued for years after the war. It wasn't just the Nazi's. The purposeful starvation and forced marches, killing of certain groups such as gypsy and traveling refugees were targets of eliminate in MANY MANY countries!
Norway killed the types of people that were "travelers" and the testimonies of civilians who saw these killing atrocities still remember.
It was buried in history of all the orphan children after the war. I was shaking to hear what they went thru'.

In every respect, the cruelty continued YEARS after the war was over. People were shells of themselves. They were gone inside. Rage prevailed as anybody who was "an enemy" was a target and the war continued in the minds of these people.
These events were minimized by history.

The unleashing of demonic hated and the incomprehension of acts of inhuman cruelty.. who can really prepare that type of horrible event ..

And history repeats.

There is preparation of getting food stuffs etc.
Some will trust and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Most will not.
The next war.. I cannot imagine.. or, maybe I just saw a small glimpse.
