Quoting: TruthSneeker I loved it, my friend was terrified. (we were around 7-8 years old) I'm surprised that I don't know for sure but it was probably the 1966 Batman movie. Speaking of terrified, around the same age as you I went with a friend to see "The Brain Eaters". Five minutes in I was so scared I excused myself to go to the bathroom and bolted out the door and ran all the way home! Ha ha ha I eventually watched it as an adult and its a laughably bad "B" horror movie. |

I was scared shitless of any water for a month. LOL Quoting: Robrock85 Jaws was mine too. My Dad took us to Hollyweird for it because it was the biggest theater and best sound. It really didn't scare me though. SICSEMPERTYRANIS Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum Vi veri universum vivus vici "There is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact". mport81 User ID: 67098792 United States 01/24/2019 06:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My parents took me to see “2001: A Space Odyssey” when it was first released in theatres in 1968 when I was 4 years old. It was my first visit to a movie theatre and I remember vividly how blown away I was by the imagery. It’s still my favorite movie and I have been a huge fan of Sci Fi movies and books to this day. I can remember my parents taking me to a Drive-In a few times before “A Space Odyssey” but they always had me sleep on the back seat while they watched the movie, so I can’t remember what they were, although i’m pretty sure one was a Billy Jack movie. Memory gets foggy before I could walk, but I am pretty sure it was "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" with Clint Eastwood? Forget what the other 2 were? The one I always wanted to see, I always passed out before it came on. (They did that on purpose. I am sure somehow in league with parents...they were crafty) We could Leave our home. All of us at once. Get there before sundown, right at, and get parked. Hang a speaker on the window and stay there until 12 or 1:30 when movie three got over. Between movies, you could go to the concession stand and it was all clean and the food was really good and everybody there and that worked there looked like you. Little kids. Since the whole thing had a 12 foot fence all around it, that the screen was outside of, everybody ran around wherever during intermission to run off sitting still for the movie. Nobody stold or fkd anybody. We piled pillows and blankets in what was called the "way back" for a bed and nobody fought or shot anybody. In my fog somewhere I am sure I remember Steve McQueen and Charles Bronson while passing out on popcorn, soda and ice cream narcosis....
