The next reasonable question to ask yourself, is why did these people build these horrendous devices and then leave them in the hands of idiots that don't know what they're doing? The full intent is for us to destroy ourselves with them.

If you knew who ACTUALLY built the majority of this stuff, or at least laid the ground work for it, there would be a lot of head scratching going on, not only concerning the content of their character, but also the content of their knowledge base.

99% of this country can't even make a toaster oven, let alone a nuclear weapon, yet a group of very odd and mysterious fellows successfully did it 70+ years ago....

These fellows were no friends of this country, they came here to complete the work they'd already been doing in Europe, before that entire continent was leveled to the ground during the second World War.

After 100 Million casualties, they really didn't have any competition to worry about anymore, only nosy Americans that were easily kept out of the way and swept under the rug when they got too close to the truth, or tried to edge their way into the work.

In my mind, these people had already made a dedicated decision to destroy the world. They knew the risks of the weaponry, the fallout, and the radioactive byproducts.

They just DID NOT CARE, because they didn't care about this country or the world.

It was all just about the completion of the work, and making these horrendous devices which will eventually destroy us.

To make matters worse, the blue prints and general idea of how you make such things has spread around the world, and some nations like North Korea and Russia have been serious enough to dedicate the majority of their resources into building them. These fools as well, could detonate their arsenals at any time.

This planet is a ticking time bomb, and a bunch of Europeans who barely spoke of a word of English, and a 120 pound weirdo who our Government is still not sure whether was a Communist/Russian agent or not, are responsible.

Oppenheimer made sure to have his body burned after his death, and his remains dumped in some random river, so when the time finally comes where we get to experience the devastating results of his work, you won't even have a grave to piss on, or a set of bones to dig up.

He made sure nothing remained of his physical body, just like nothing will remain when these things are finally used on a human population again. Only shadows that were once people, and total obliteration as far as the eye can see.

Why, its a great way to keep your enemy stumped on what and why we would do something.

A bunch of mad scientists who ran from war .... figures..

They could make a mess, but it would not destroy the planet.
