I guess that is the point.
Quoting: Tainted Meat You give her too much credit. She was coming off as a stupid arrogant bitch and damaging her party. She is trying to salvage that. She actually blocked a vote in Congress that was going to take a headcount of who supported her denying the chamber for the SOTU. She caught a lot of shit for this in her own party. Kind of weird, She actually, defended him at her news conference after government shut down was over. She got snappy with a reporter that was asking was Trump trying to win against her or something like that the reason he let government be shut down so long. She said that was terrible thing to insinuate about the President and that they just had a difference of opinion or something. She bashed him later of course but surprised she defended him at all.
