The chances of two white men knowing who this Jussie dude has got to be astronomically low as Empire is aimed at the black audiences. This sounds like it's a cover up for an escort gone wrong or autoerotic asphyxiation. I wouldn't choke and stroke but some people do that.

4:00 PM PT -- Chicago PD confirms to TMZ Jussie told them, in a follow-up interview, about the attackers yelling, "MAGA country."

They add Jussie still had the rope around his neck when he made contact with cops at 2:42 AM.
Remember, the attack happened around 2 AM.

12:43 PM PT -- Sources connected to production tell us Jussie and the rest of the main "Empire" cast members will have armed security going forward while they continue shooting in Chicago.

Lee Daniels briefly posted, but then deleted, a screen grab from a FaceTime he had with Jussie while he was in the hospital.

It was a setup. My prediction:

It was a couple Antifa douchebags posing as "MAGA thugs" (as if those were a thing).

No proof but no video or witnesses seem very lacking.

* Chicago...is "MAGA" country?

* They were wearing ski masks AND red MAGA hats!

* Who says "MAGA?" It's printed on hats or written, but verbalized?

* Isn't it snowing there? Frigid weather?

* He says they were white. How could he tell. He said they were wearing ski masks and gloves! Certainly in the cold weather they were also wearing long sleeve coats!

* He still had the rope around his neck 45 minutes after he said it happened. OMG! Who would do that? lol
