Has brief been alerted that yet another woman has been squished?

All the exit seats were taken when I was able to select seats(had to do it on the airport).

And if he is not able to get the seat back then to bad for him.

I LIKE that she was "nasty" and we need to become a LOT NASTIER because the people pulling shit like this - like these two pigs taking up 3 seats - are NEVER called on their behavior. They NEED to be fat shamed, we are making it too comfortable for mentally ill and gross people to act like their behavior is normal and we should all bow to them. I appreciate what this woman said and maybe it's the slap in the face these pigs need to figure out how to lose enough weight to fit into a goddam airline seat.

They should sell jumbo seats for a higher price. You get to the airport and have to walk through a door. If your flab touches the sides, you are charged for a fat seat.

Not only does it suck to sit next to whales but they make the plane ride more expensive for everyone because of their weight.

I tend to agree with you. Interesting they all seemed to be media types. As someone else observed here, maybe the agenda is to make out that white women (archetypal blonde) are all evil bitches. That backfired because the fatties are disgusting and shouldn't be taking up 3 seats. I think most people agree with the blonde even if they're afraid to say so publicly. I say lose some fucking weight you pigs.

Bottom line --

Flying seriously sucks any more, even when you are in first class.

I can remember back in the late 90s when I could get very comfy in a coach seat. Now, even a my size, I feel squished in a coach seat. Mr. LJS can barely move, and he is 6Ft, 170 lbs -- so not exactly an enormous guy.

If gastric bypass works for them, they have an input/output ratio, and self discipline problem.

She could have handled that silently without shaming or creating a scene by just asking for another seat. She had to make a scene.

I’d be uncomfortable too. I thought big people had to buy two seats? What happened there?

Some people just gotta get their attention.

yea i suppose my sister had it done like 7 years ago ...Doctors made her gain 40 pounds..She has federal insurance ..our dime payed for it..She didn't want diabetes

The federal people get almost Cadillac insurance,thats why i pissed Trump caved..but according to my parents my brother in law was still getting paid,during the shutdown..guess he has become needed in the job he holds..who would've guessed!

The trick is to not take sides.

Both sides have valid points. Respecting both is the right way to lead. The airline should have been kind to both sides.

Instead they kick her off and force her to wait until the next morning to fly.

When did airliners become custodians of conduct? Let alone being capable of defining what constitutes proper.

Whenever their is a piece that attempts to humiliate and ridicule the norm, traditions, decency, manners, or any other aspect of our culture and civilization- like this one- the most important thing to do is to not fall into the trap of accepting their narrative and about half of the people on here have already done that by agreeing that what the woman said was 'rude' or 'offensive' or whatever term they have chosen by reviewing as much of the event as possible and then making some kind of judgement.

#1 Why are two travelling companions sitting one seat apart instead of beside one another? You think it's because when they bought their tickets they requested aisle and window? Why would they do that? Do you know anyone who travels together but requests to be seated apart? If that were the case, what are the odds of them being given two random seats apart in the same row? 1:50, maybe more depending on when they booked the flight. They did it because they KNEW they couldn't occupy the middle seat because of their obesity so they made a conscious decision not to be made uncomfortable. You think they thought about the person who had to sit in the seat neither of them would take? Point completely ignored by United, the MSM and the rest of the people sympathetic to those two selfish pigs.

#2 Who was taping who? Does anyone mention how disturbing and skeezy it is for a total stranger sitting next to you, knowingly making you uncomfortable (see point 1 above) and then videotaping you? Who does that? When did that kind of invasion of privacy become the norm and again, why does no one even think it is worthy of mention? Looking at the fatties who complained they don't look as if they have the combined IQ to have conspired to create this scene (free tickets, cash settlements, etc) but they damn sure were culturally aware enough to capitalize on it.

#3 You don't like people making snide comments about your fat ass? Then get your corpulent body out of the space they paid for. Both of you. Why didn't the husband/partner/whatever they call themselves these days offer to exchange seats? See point #1 above.

#4 Who started with the insulting language? In the videotape I saw it was the big fat woman who was foul mouthed and threatening, the older White woman,known hereafter for the rest of her life as "FAT SHAMER BAD!!!" and whose life is irretrievably screwed because she didn't want stranger blubber hanging all over her for five hours. And she was the one called all sorts of foul names, but that okay because White people evil racists. Again not one mention of this undeniable fact.

#5 Ever notice that whenever you need someone to corroborate your story it is another member of the protected classes? Other than what he may have heard as the seats were being changed, the gay black actor (that's called a threefer in the biz) had zero involvement other than his obvious belligerent behavior and name calling to "FAT SHAMER BAD", so why is the media interested in his take? Once again,o one mentions his role in escalating what was already at that point a resolved situation.

People have to learn how to look at things objectively. You have to deliberately ignore the story you are being force fed and try to look at it as if you were unbiased. You have to take into account the current reality of the media, i.e. they promote a narrative that supports the status quo rather than trying to determine the truth by examining facts. And you have to stop giving credence to people simply based on their social ranking, i.e fat, black, gay, actor and instead judge their behavior as if none of those factors were exculpatory.

Had the situation been the reverse, i.e. two morbidly obese white "partners" calling a skinny black woman a "bitch" and telling her to "kiss my fat white ass" and filming her in order to cause her discomfort, how do you think the story would have been covered? Would any of the factors noted about have been considered?

This is another attempt to put evil whites back in their place after the Covington thing spun out of their control. I can't prove it, but I'd bet that it was premeditated in order to benefit the fatties.

And if being an enormous cow makes you feel shame, it's not our noticing that's at fault, it's your inability to exercise control over your own desires.

This actually happened to me coming back from Ohio after Trump GOP convention. The guy next to me (I was window seat) was half way in my seat. He was even bigger than these 2 fatties. His fat oozed over onto me and I was so disgusted. I just kept me mouth shut like a good girl and curled up into a ball against the window. I should have asked for another seat then to spend 4 hours like that but ...I'm nice :)

so actually it wasnt the lady stuck between the two whales who asked to be moved, it was the whales who wanted her moved so they wouldnt have to listen to her complain about their lard protruding into her seat???

Agreed. If you’re overweight and you know your body will not fit into one seat have the decency to buy two or at least be aware of the people around you and ask to be moved someplace that works for everybody.

This same thing happened to me a few years ago and I'm a small woman. One of the guys smelled so bad, too. I was too polite to say anything, even though both men were taking up the armrests, not to mention their bodies touching me. was the most uncomfortable flight ever. I just sat there upright with my arms squeezed inwards. I don't agree with the lady's rudeness, but it really isn't fair for others who are stuck (quite literally) in those situations.

That actor botch should be stuffed between them instead. He run his damn mouth like a rainbow hero. Yet he did not offer his aisle seat to that woman. lol

I dont think super fat people should fly,the weight may make the plane not take off..just saying!

Did you listen to the end of the video where the lady tells them both she herself eats salads?
