How could Roger Stone be dumb enough to not encrypt his hard drives and devices?
Especially as high-profile as he is.

He just gave the FBI his whole life in a gift-wrapped package.

Did he leave them a nice mint as well?

Stone is not a rich man don't see what illegal stuff could be on it.

There's the theory out there that this is all on purpose to get certain anti-Cabal evidence in the public record.

If you have nothing to hide

and claim everything of yourself without hesitation

and confess yourself first if necessary

what do you have to fear?

Encryption doesn't mean shit when it comes to high profile Analysis.

They'll get what they're looking for, even if it required sending the drives to Israel.

Doesn't matter.

Everyone has something to hide. Do you really want the FBI knowing every transaction you have ever made. All your account numbers and passwords?

If you haven't figured it out by now, there is some law on the books somewhere that can nail just about anyone, no matter how innocent.

For reference here is a law professor talking about why you should NEVER talk to the police, especially if you are innocent. Keeping them away from your personal data applies here as well.

So far, TrueCrypt hasn't been compromised. It is open sourced so anyone can analyze the code.

And even if it is eventually cracked, why just hand it to them on a silver platter? Make them earn their keep.

I would have smashed every last hard drive and device with a hammer. Apparently it's ok to do that.

"Debts must be collected, bonds and mortgages must be foreclosed as rapidly as possible. When, through a process of law, the common people lose their homes they will become more docile and more easily governed through the influence of the strong arm of government, applied by a central power of wealth under control of leading financiers.

This truth is well known among our principal men now engaged in forming an imperialism of Capital to govern the world.

By dividing the voters through the political party system, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance. Thus by discreet action we can secure for ourselves what has been so well planned and so successfully accomplished."

Most encryption has a back door built in to it.

If not, supercomputers can crack even the most complicated password within a few hours, or a couple of days at the most.

Or break the encryption itself.

If you have nothing to hide, you don't need encryption anyway.

TrueCrypt has no back doors.

And no, supercomputers can't crack it if you have a secure enough password.

Actually the US Federal .Gov mandated many years ago that TrueCrypt could no longer be used as it was completely open.

Even it's developer acknowledges it is no longer secure. [link to truecrypt.sourceforge.net]

Before anti malware could detect Cryptolocker I routinely recovered the files it had 'hostaged' as part of my job.

I would be surprised if roger is clean. He may actually be an idiot enough to think he is clean and have several small crimes worth one to two years combing for 50 years. Keep this mind if you have a traffic tixket and forget to pay it in five years that becomes a $20k fine and up to three years jail time

That's why they bumrushed his place, so that they didn't have a chance to destroy evidence. Pretty standard procedure, if you think about it.

Encryption algo doesn't matter when you hold the person who knows the passphrase.

Why do you think he had a bruised face and an arm in a sling?

Yup. They cracked his files with the good old rubberhose method. No nerds or supercomputers required.

That's why I don't bother with encryption anyway. I've got nothing to hide either.

I hope that Mueller’s team has to look at all the pics Stone has on his computers of him and his wife swinging. Hopefully he sees people that he knows. Like mueller’s wife, or wives of his friends in gov..lol

Roger’s wife sexy as fuck for an older lady. I would totally swap wives with Roger. Would totally laugh my ass off seeing Richard Nixon looking back at me while he pumps one into my wife, while I pump one into his wife....

Nice that everyone is 420 friendly too....
