Masonry is a path where Christians (and followers of other faiths) can meet on the level with followers of other faiths, look beyond personal dogma and see a man for who he is not what he believes in. It's common for individual lodges to be religiously polarized yet religion is one of only two topics (the other is politics) specifically banned in lodge.

Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas are about the same.

Most Masons I've actually known seem to be fairly decent people. I don't deal with it at all though. Secret societies just not my thing.
 Quoting: Fluffy Pancakes

Freemasonry isn't technically a secret society. We Master Masons wear our rings with pride and honor. Our lodges are overtly marked in public usually with meeting times and dates posted on the outside. We have public websites with contact information, and as a 501(c) 10 nonprofit organization, 99% of our records are public information. It doesn't take much digging to find ALL of our ritual & esoteric work online, you can even go to the Macoy website and order our SUPER SECRET CYPHER BOOK without being a Freemason. The cypher book of Louisiana isn't even in code.
We're a society of secrets, and our secrets aren't even really secrets. It's the experience, the fellowship, the friendships made, the community service and a guaranteed awesome hot meal at least once a month.

32nd degree of morals and dogma states that you practice kabbalistic witchcraft in the higher degrees
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77339601

LMAO...

Albert Pike is not the authority on Masonry. Most Masons will be none too shy about distancing him from mainstream Freemasonry. The 32nd degree he writes of is not Blue Lodge Masonry, it is Scottish Rite and even then the Pike followers are more of a fringe sect not typical Scottish Rite Masons.
 Quoting: Hiram's Apprentice

the impression i get is the Pike followers were Less zionist than the other sects, that's why he's not as mainstream.

but here in 32nd degree we see he's also a worshipper of Israel and their holy witch priesthood.

was this, in fact what the American civil war was about?? Pike's freemasonry was not zionist enough?

before the civil war, there were 2000 currencies in the US, after the civil war, there was ONE currency and ONE central bank that issued it.

I have to agree I don’t think bashing the Masonic Bretheren is warranted. It would be much wiser to read Manly Hall, the Rosicrucian CosmoConception, Blavatsky’s first books, Immanuel Velikofsky, and other good works; even Morals and Dogma by Albert Pike for yourself, and educate yourself, and make an erudite decision for Yourself. Become a Scholar yourself, and be a part of the solution, not part of the problem. Weigh the facts. If you haven’t studied yourself then what basis do you have to complain?

Guess who's in our elks? At least one of our now deceased r.c. pastors.

Jelly much?

Seriously though....

Masons are everywhere (even here at GLP obviously), we're the largest and oldest fraternity worldwide. Here in the United States, you'll be hard pressed to find ANY town or community worth living in or even visiting that doesn't have a Masonic presence. However... as for "controlling and running" our communities... that's a bit of an overstatement. More of a paranoid delusion actually. For those who, for whatever reason, despises Freemasonry and that which we do.... might want to consider leaving the USA if you're here as Freemasons are who created America.

Freemasons often claim they're not a secret religion and nothing to hide, and yet they worship in secrecy and refuse to reveal their membership roles. They also lie through their teeth and claim it's not a religion, when it is clearly Kabbalah Luciferian Judaism. 95% of them have no idea they worship Satan, they're not informed until the 30 degree. They re unwitting tools of Satan who know less about what they are involved in than any researcher, because as Pike explained it is intentionally concealed

The motto of freemasonry is "making good men better". Well that let me tell you, what do you think that kind of attitude breeds. Pride is what it breeds, you are full of pride and need to repent. The only One who was good didn't even accept this kind of flattery.

You are full of it, you need to be humbled and NOW. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions, that is basically what you call your great work.

There is nothing wrong with Masons. Most are very good people.

The problem is the way power is exercised by the top and the way the Freemasons were taken over by the "black hand".

A lot of religious people think the hidden (occult) ceremonies are evil, but people who really understand know that Masons believe in a higher power/supreme creator and that is not an evil way, for sure.
In the end, the truth is revealed. You might not accept it, but it will be right in front of you and undeniably true.

what if there was a separate secret society, and actually stays secretive about it's existence, and also pretends to be masons sometimes to misdirect people? it could be, probably isn't, but whatever can you do?

the issue really is the fact that people are genuinely being abused by secretive people who use a variety of tools and techniques. they sometimes wear masonic clothing, use masonic handshakes, and use phrases from masonic culture. it's circumstantial, but it explains why everyone keeps saying "masons suck".

it's really interesting that a supposed public and proud mason basically tells everyone to literally leave the country if they don't like being abused by people who brandish masonic culture. but even that guy might be a fake.

the way i figure it, loki, aka mr world, is a real jackass. if only i had some rope, and a knife, and knew where loki's liver is, i'd glady live without. but i'm not able to make that happen, and i'm stuck in loki's world. i have to worry about whether my computer is hacked, my brain is hacked, my food is poisoned, my stuff is getting stolen, etc. all because loki exists. what an asshole. he really is the worst.

These are the same people who complain about the yale and harvard clubs or the bankers's clubs and yet they do the same on their level.

One had a nephew who called the police on me for walking outside my door and because that's what he felt like doing and they are in a highly subsidized group that never develops an adult sense of responsibility, and his aunt, who is shacked up with the building supt., none of whom pay a cent to live in the building, tells the responding police officer, "we're elks" as though it were a secret handshake.

I am harassed because I live alone and am rather elderly and they are bullies allowed to behave this way.

Being elks made them one hundred times worse.

I've spoken to an elks trustee whom I know and trust as a decent human being and was told that these people are friendly with the worse elements in the club. But it would be too much trouble to get rid of them even though they do not contribute to any of their causes. He's moved out of town and is less involved with their day to day.

I had been offered membership by two people over the years, but just wasn't interested since I know about the shady doings.

The national should remove their charter.

Simon Bolivar and the freemasons created most of the south american governments

Freemasonry
Similarly to some others in the history of American Independence (George Washington, Miguel Hidalgo, José de San Martín, Bernardo O'Higgins, Toussaint L'Ouverture, Francisco de Paula Santander, Antonio Nariño, and Francisco de Miranda), Simón Bolívar was a Freemason. He was initiated in 1803 in the Masonic Lodge Lautaro, which operated in Cádiz, Spain.,[67] becoming involved with the Knights Templar.[68] It was in this lodge that he first met some of his revolutionary peers, such as José de San Martín. In May 1806 he was conferred the rank of Master Mason in the "Scottish Mother of St. Alexander of Scotland" in Paris. During his time in London, he frequented "The Great American Reunion" lodge in London, founded by Francisco de Miranda. In April 1824, Simón Bolívar was given the 33rd degree of Inspector General Honorary.[citation needed]

He founded the Masonic Lodge No. 2 of Peru, named "Order and Liberty".[69][70]
