The problem is how you define lie.

For instance on one of the fact checks of the SOTU they said it was untrue when Trump said a third of the women in the migrant caravans were sexually assaulted.

They said that was a false statement because a third is 33.3% and the numbers showed 31.6% of women were sexually assaulted, not 33.3%. Trump's statement was perfectly true. Virtually a third of women in caravans are sexually assaulted and that is not a good thing. It won't be talked about now because some dishonest fact checker skewed it.


They've basically weaponized legal technicalities in journalism. There's a term for it, intellectual dishonesty, but you'll never hear the MSM use that term because of how guilty they are of it.
