The owner of that home shot the plane out of the sky for casting a shadow on his newly mowed lawn. That'll teach em to respect private property, no good sons a bitches. |

There's a Raytheon facility just a few miles away and lots of DoD contractors love in that neighborhood, so it's very possible. Could've been a AA DEW test coordinated with the govt. |

That will rip an engine out of the mounts. No engine, CG is out the window. Game over. Would think it would be doubtful if a blade snapped it off on impact with the ground Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76533244 The empennage separated before the engine/wing assembly in the security cam footage I saw. The left engine was on fire. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 74821841 United States 02/03/2019 11:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That pop sounded local. The engine was functional and wound up as tight as a two dollar watch all the way to impact. When he popped out of the bottom of the clouds a few seconds before impact, he undoubtedly hoisted back on the yoke. Could have easily pulled the tail off. That would explain airplane parts outside of the splatter zone. |

Could it be insurance fraud? Grandpa former owner had a few bankruptcies. Get this - the news is saying THIS is the pilot who died. Why is this story so weird? |
Paul Drake (OP) User ID: 35742228 United States 02/05/2019 03:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow just read an article in (rhymes with 'said it') - someone claiming to know the pilot well because the pilot was a 'fixture' at the Fullerton airport - says the plane was used to transport prisoners and the pilot used another name - Jordan Isaacson. Here's the rest of the link if you feel like chasing down some clues r/flying/comments/amv511/plane_crash_yorba_linda_ca_developing/?sort=new |
