Catholicism has a deep tradition incredible wickedness and is by no means anything near

*No where are WE taught to pray to Mary, we are taught she is in fact the Mother of Jesus, our Lord and our God and as such deserves immense respect. As his last act before death on the cross he gave her to St. Johns care. He loved her and we love her. I sometimes ask her help and intercession with problems with my kids but NEVER worship or adore or pray to her. We as Catholics are taught she is human and worship is reserved for God.

For One thouand five hundred years, the Catholic Bible was the the only one. When Luther couldnt hack it as a priest and wanted to marry, he left the church and needed support of the Rich Princes in N.Germany so he dropped some of the books so the cost of printing(roughly 30k each_)would go down, and to let them rob and plunder monestaries with a clear mind HE DROPPED THE WORDS GOOD WORKS from a real phrase "by faith and good works alone shall man be saved"
By the way, every Mass consists of one OT reading, one Psalm, and one New Testament Gospel, different every day and applicable to the season, Beginning Christmas, the early teachings, Lent, the passion and Redemption and then rest of the year, the teachings of Jesus. So if you go to daily Mass for four years, you will hear the New Testament from cover to cover and 1/3 of the old. Besides personal readings which are encouraged.(Ive read entire Bible cover to cover 8 Times_).
From my childhood catechism, Jesus is the head of the church and the faithful are the body. The Pope is the head of the physical business of the earthly church, the emissary so to speak. He is ONLY infallible when addressing matters of faith and morals in a certain strict way. Otherwise we had saintly Popes and Losers, just like kings businesses etc. I have issues with Frances, given his background/education in a communist country, but he was chosen. If he directly contradicted scripture, then I would be duty bound to object.
