I was very telepathic with my first cat, who adopted me. She never made a sound the first year I had her, yet I could mentally ask her questions and I got answers the same way, which is how I found out what name she wanted to be called. She answered to it immediately thereafter. In a few instances we had telepathic conversations.

She did everything I ever asked of her, including scratching on the apartment door when she wanted to come in from outside. I asked what she wanted to be called and she told me her name, etc.

We were inseparable for 14 years. The mental conversations lasted about a year and then slowly faded and verbal conversations became the norm.

I had to put her down 15 years ago and I miss her to this day. She was a very unique cat.
