I have Native American ancestry. I easily qualify for a lot of benefits. Have my tribal ID card and one from the federal bureau of Indian affairs.

So do my brothers and we have never claimed to be anything but white and have never used any benefit... free college education being a big one. We all went to state colleges and paid our way. We would be embarrassed to use those benefits.

Don't get me wrong... we are proud to have that heritage.... even though all of us have diabetes and other serious health problems related to our bloodline.

My father would not even fill out the Native American paperwork for himself... he was in the army and airforce and never claimed anything for any reason. To him it was un-American.

I have dozens of cousins, many have more Indian blood than I do (my dad married a.muslim, his brothers married native Americans) and I do not know of any of them that have used their ancestry to gain advantage. They look down on anyone who does.

It may be old news, but since she recently announced that she is running for the position of el presidente, it is relavent, and she has just reduced her chances to about 1/1024 of a chance for winning. Let her waste her money again....it's good for the economy if nothing else.
