Sounds like it is very "artful" and effortful! Each thread would have a sort of "theme", like "The Walking Dead" or "Lord Of The Rings" and then the various candidates' faces would be photoshopped as characters in scenes from those shows. One of my favorites was of Trump dressed as the Sheriff from "The Walking Dead" sighting down along his .45 at you, the viewer. Such elegant fun!
