Wells Fargo Down everywhere

One of the wheels fell off the stage coach.

Bingo. Takes time, it's not automatic since the outage could be a simple fix. They only fail over if they must commit to it, which could take up to an hour to decide, then another 1-several hours to perform the actual fail-over and they must verify the fail over was successful before allowing users in.

Fail over is instant with High Availability. Wells Fargo probably has other issues that are starting mess with things. But they have been dysfunctional for so long that its all bound to catch up with them eventually.

Our internet connection has been on and off since

You would have been much better off putting most of those payments toward the principal so you could lower the amount of interest you pay.

I just got out of WF a few months ago. Went with a local CU.

It's still not working properly. I tried to access by phone and had to enter my account number four times before it would recognize it as a valid account.

My internet has been noticably slow since yesterday and still today. Here on glp, it takes like 20 seconds to change a page. Never has happened before, and continuing this morning.

Was working pretty well yesterday afternoon, with only a few features not coming back up, but now it is back to being completely down again. This is really worrisome and extremely frustrating! Which bank do you all recommend for the switch? We have an acct at our local credit union, but they haven’t been trouble-free either, when they updated to mobile banking I remember them being down for a while as well.

Yep, back down for me again too.

I use Chase as a "spare" (my main bank is local) and I recently withdrew about $500 to keep in my "shoebox" stash, about a month ago or so. Just a few days ago someone at work was kinda freaking out because her pay didn't go in like expected because Chase had some glitch where it bounced it all back, then deposited the next day instead. I don't know the full details. So Wells Fargo isn't the only one being spotty.

Agreed, right next to the bank of Smith and Wesson. We’ve been a spoiled society and gotten used to the convenience of everything being done online and instantly- it will be hard going back to the old days, especially for those young adults that have no idea how to fill out a check!

What is the tee-vee news saying?

Perhaps they're gathering evidence for military tribunals.

WF customers will hear "Oh snap! That wily cartel got ALL the money?"
