That's probably the only realistic part of the Walking Dead /Fear the walking dead TV series, I notice they have steered clear for the most part of preppers and other groups, to promote what I call a "PC apocalypse" where they include every leftist cultural view they can.

OP i see the stages. i dfo not think the US survives as the nation it is. i see small communities, smaller than states.i see local govern. and hope we do not fall into the trap of big govern again.

i see a tribal sence like the Indains had. they worked together for war. they traded.they set up a councel. i see communities having to fend for themsel.and without Federal $$ some will have to move. such as in the hurricane zones. towns will need to put a % of food and supplies away for disasters themself.

i see these communities taking about 5 yrs to get up tyo speed. less in rural areas. longer where there is heavy fighting such as the coast.

the anarchy stage can not survive the winter.ppl need more firewood here in the north than they expect.many many will die thru next winter.smart ppl will know this and work to build communities before Sept.

we need to calculate when this all will start and how it goes down. i can hope it holds off til warm weather. i do not think that is a realistic hope. as we see lockdowns turn to ML and food shortages,ppl are going to b on edge. before half wake up,there will b fighting and looting.ppl will b starving waiting for Uncle Sam.

sadly,i see no way for a different ending to this mess.as the virus #'s run up and hospitals become overwhelmed, more riots and chaos than this country has ever seen.

No there will be Ozarka type city states where the Ozarks will be parts of KS, AR, MO and OK, or ArkLaTexOK around the red river delta, and so on but that will be stage 4, 8 to 20 years after the fall of it all.

glad to see u took west of the river. i deaded north of the Finger Lakes along I-90 to NYC to the Canadians.

i see the Appalchian Mt's forming our own state with many small communities. we have coal do u need some? oh and oil. might see if we can find asteam engine in a museum and bring u some apples.

actually we have shale oil and NG, they have drilled so much that they don't need pumping stations I see the mountain areas as strongholds and the farming deltas being re populated later, as far as I'm concerned the more rednecks the better our chances are.
