So Brexit "Revote" Yes or No ? | |
Cognitive_Dissident User ID: 77199578 United Kingdom 02/08/2019 08:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If they held a second referendum I hope the stubborn British public will still vote to Leave - 70% Leave, 30% remain. That would be glorious. I think though they're purposely dragging it out, stoking 'Project Fear' to instil a sense of apathy over Brexit. So in the end the British people will simply give up, pandering to the will of their masters. “Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance” - Einstein "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize" - Voltaire |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77343322 France 02/08/2019 08:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I would suggest you go for a hard Brexit and make JCJ, Verhoftwat, Barnier and Tuskbuster et al to go and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. But, I would urge you as a country, to get your act together, because things are going to be tough if you aren't able to. You have the ability, we all are aware of that, but you have lost your way. Probably in no small way, thanks to the EU and it's vindictive and overbearing manner and attitude. I wish you all the very best in whatever you do, because in the final event, what happens over there, will most undoubtedly have a great impact on what transpires over here. Good luck Brits |

Quoting: Adytum Till they get it right according to Brussels? That, sadly, is how the EU rolls. I do see trouble ahead for the political classes, in the UK, if they fail to deliver on the original result. A desire to remain outside of the media game show is necessary if one wishes to retain independence of thoughts and actions. |

Similar to Trump upsetting the DC gravy train, when Britain leaves, there will be MANY MANY politicians and businessman who will have their little fiefdoms turned on their heads as well. But in the end, the EU needs access to British consumers and goods. Similarly, the British need access to the rest of the European market. It will not be the end of the world. The free market will smooth out the bullshit because there is money to be made and honest deals to be negotiated. Don't buy into the hype ad fear. Just fucking leave. |
nancyrowina User ID: 77346653 Russia 02/08/2019 09:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think if we voted again (don't know why my badge says Netherlands by the way, I'm in the UK) people would vote to stay as this has been a shit show, the Tories are the last people we wanted negotiating us out of the EU. That would then cause civil unrest as the people who didn't change their minds would be so angry. Confusion will be my epitaph, as I crawl this cracked and broken path,if we make it we can all sit back and laugh, but I fear tomorrow I'll be crying... |
