Jesus is NOT God. The Bible makes that 100% clear!

Here. Maybe you would like to spin this to discredit God. DGN seems to be busy, or stumped.

Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

Man seen the Father via " The Son of Man" the Father was inside the mortal flesh that he "sent" thus, God in the flesh.

It's a shame that you folks don't even bother post book & chapter info when you post verses. This is a serious disrespect to others who are reading this thread

 Quoting: TheLordsServant

disrespect? it usually only takes some of the words of a scripture copied and pasted into a search engine to get its location in the word. If we were just working with the Bible and didn't have search engines then yes, but then we wouldn't be reading it here

Nothing you say will change my stance that posting Bible verses without proper correct "book & chapter" information is wrong. ANYONE who teaches out of the Bible begins with "Open your Bibles and go to...(book and chapter)".

Forcing someone to copy a snippet of verse to find where it is ...is nothing more than plain lazyness and downright rude.

Re: If Jesus was with God and was God in the beginning why does the bible say he is God's first creation?
And the LORD said to Moses, “I will do this very thing you have asked, for you have found favor in My sight, and I know you by name.” 18Then Moses said, “Please show me Your glory.” 19“I will cause all My goodness to pass in front of you,” the LORD replied, “and I will proclaim My name—the LORD—before you. I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”...

22But I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23And the city has no need for sun or moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory.…

Moses ask to see Gods Glory. what or whom did he see?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70501380

He saw the Lamb. The light of God himself. Jesus.

DGN and the others who desperately want to belittle Gods Glory, will of course attack and twist the scriptural reality to this.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77391037

Who's "twisting scripture"? You folks ignore scripture that doesn't match your doctrine.

We are not "belittling" God's Glory. God's Glory is His own. John 17:5 shows us that Jesus is ASKING the Father to "have His own glory RETURNED to Him (Jesus)".

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

John 17:22 reaffirms that Jesus had gotten His glory FROM THE Father.

John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them;

What part of "Lamb OF God" is it that you folks can't understand?

He saw the Lamb. The light of God himself. Jesus.

DGN and the others who desperately want to belittle Gods Glory, will of course attack and twist the scriptural reality to this.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77391037

"Well, at hearing these things, they were infuriated in their hearts and began to grind their teeth at him. 55 But he, being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand, 56 and he said: “Look! I see the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God’s right hand.” 57 At this they cried out at the top of their voices and put their hands over their ears and rushed at him all together. 58 After throwing him outside the city, they began stoning him. The witnesses laid down their outer garments at the feet of a young man called Saul. 59 As they were stoning Stephen, he made this appeal: “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60 Then, kneeling down, he cried out with a strong voice: “Jehovah, do not charge this sin against them.” And after saying this, he fell asleep in death.
" Ac7:54
 Quoting: DGN

Jesus is identified here as the son of man, Gods Glory would be the Son of God

45It is written in the Prophets: ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from Him comes to Me— 46not that anyone has seen the Father except the One who is from God; only He has seen the Father. 47Truly, truly, I tell you, he who believes has eternal life

And how did they hear the Father? from his WORD who became Jesus Christ
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70501380

"God's Glory" is His own as I proved above.

"hear the Father"? The Father SPOKE to Moses and the prophets in various ways. "learned FROM Him" - learned from the Father.

What does Jesus specifically tell us?

John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

and he said: “Look! I see the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God’s right hand.”

Now, there is a difference between the "Son OF man" and the Word of God that became flesh.

Tell us the difference please. Because there is a distinct difference in the Son Of Man and who God is. Go!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77391037

EXACTLY. The Son OF God also calls Himself the Son OF Man. Standing at the "right hand of God" is the key phrase here.

John 1 says it all, anyone who can not discern it is blind.
 Quoting: anonymous 9957097

No it doesn't. John 1 is more important than John 3:16? HOGWASH.

John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

It seems you fail to understand that God is a family, Father, Son and many future "sons and daughters" (Romans 8).
 Quoting: anonymous 9957097

And yet the Father is the "Patriarch" of all.

The Father states several times that Jesus is His "beloved Son".

Jesus acts just like a loving, obedient Son. It's as plain as daylight.

Told you he would look to belittle the true essence of God. They litteraly hate and cringe to think God himself would have come, taking on the form of a mortal flesh, to dwell and live amongst humanity experiencing the pain, sorrow, and death that humanity does.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77391037

Father God is FAR to Holy and pure to ever come to earth as a "human". This is the "true essence" of God Himself.

God didn't come to earth. He SENT His Son.

The word "sent" occurs 130 times in 125 verses in Matthew thru John in the KJV.

[link to www.blueletterbible.org (secure)]

Of those 130 times the word was used, Jesus SAID He was sent 47 times. Who SENT Him? The Father, who has authority to do such.

It's a shame that you folks don't even bother post book & chapter info when you post verses. This is a serious disrespect to others who are reading this thread

You can't dismiss one part of the Bible in favor of another. I see people do this all the time because they find something that supports their position and it's wrong.
 Quoting: GLP Effect

Actually this is incorrect, the bible didn't come to be all at once, it started with the pentateuch, that means that those 5 books existed and had to justify each other at the time...Much later when the hebrews went into captivity the rest was added, the prophets major and minor and this become the OT...Now, that has to exist without the NT for thousands of years.

So these aspects can be judged as such keeping this in mind when excercising hermaneutics in your studies..

 Quoting: DGN

Jehova is a 16th century translation of the tetragrammatton from greek to latin by franciscan monks that decide its should be pronouced jehova as opposed to yahweh, Amens etymology isn't "so be it" its the name of the Egyptian god amun ra...This was inserted into christianity, it is correct the word logos is what is written in the greek with regards to John, however this is a mistranslation from logos to "word" Logos means much more...

Jesus was not God, the father and he were one but he was not the fatrher, same as leaf is one with the tree but it is not the tree... The chritianity you have today is in error, it was deestroyed almost as soon as it was born...You have to go real deep into the rabbit hole to find what these guys hid!! Let me tell you even Jesus siad woe be unto you scribe!! that means even in his day they were fuckin with scripture...

Easy.

Statement was made "pre-Jesus" - before Jesus was introduced to the world stage. Totally appropriate for that point in time.

It's also possible that since Jesus IS the Son OF God - that He had His own glory - but lost it temporarily while being born of a human on earth. Maybe the "Transfiguration" was the Father giving it back to Jesus for a few moments to show the difference between Him and Moses / Elijah.

Re: If Jesus was with God and was God in the beginning why does the bible say he is God's first creation?
Did Jehovah create Jesus?
 Quoting: DGN

Matthew 1:18
This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged in marriage to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with Child through the Holy Spirit

Luke 1 …34“How can this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” 35The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.

Is the power of the Most High the Most High or his power?

TLS since you left this part out of your response I will ask again
this shows he had that glory with the father before the world was. How does it prove it was The Heavenly Fathers own?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70501380

You missed the above? John 17 5 & 22.
 Quoting: TheLordsServant

And you missed Isaiah 42:8

"I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.

Your turn!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73752947

 Quoting: TheLordsServant

Your obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed.

The statement was not pre-Jesus. Hiw do we know this?

Jesus had Glory before the world was created.

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

So, your assertion that the statement was Pre-Jesus is as foolish as the rest of your assertions concerning who God really is.

Those that argue are clueless to the fact the Logos(Word) lived with God before "the beginning. Several scriptures show this.

" These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God:" Rv3:14
 Quoting: DGN

YOUR IF.....is not based on Bible.....

Jhn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Word = LOGOS not Jesus

Amen is not Jesus.... amen means 'so be it'.....

LOGOS is the beginning........IT is the 'so be it'...verified in Gen. 1 when it is written.....

God said, 'let there be light' ...... let as in 'so be it' ....

Whose Jehovah?
 Quoting: DGN

Before we go down that rabbit hole to exercise your need to poke at Biblical facts......

do you agree with my premise that your question is faulty at is basic thought.....if you don't agree with my answer?

 Quoting: anonymous 9957097

He will tell you the chosen ones are 144,000 Jehovah's witnesses, which includes it's Governing body members who actively fight the legal system, demanding its their right to protect Child molesters and not turn over their documented list to authorities that keep on file of all the known baby rapist in their congregation. That's a fact and public court records show their pleading to protect the privacy of the molesters and even though courts have ordered they turn over their files, they defy the courts, spending MILLIONS OF $$$ from their sheep who donate to their cause to fight to protect and shield the pedifiles from prosecution.
