Who did Jesus say is his God and his disciples God?
"Jesus said to her: “Mary!” On turning around, she said to him in Hebrew: “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher!”) 17 Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.’” 18 Mary Magdalene came and brought the news to the disciples: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them what he had said to her." Jo20:16
Quoting: DGN Don't you realize that Jesus is the living Word of God, and that The living Word of God became a man? Do you realize that every single time the Old Testament says, "and the Word of the Lord came unto...." that THAT was Jesus? Jesus IS God's Words come to life. They cannot be separated in that sense.
When Jesus speaks, it's God who speaks.
John 12:49
For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
Jesus tells Philip that by seeing Him (Jesus) you have seen the Father:
John 14:7-9
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Jesus says in John 10:30
I and my Father are one.
If you had the power to cause your very words, which come from your brain in the form of thoughts, to be embodied in human form, would that human who speaks your words not still be YOU? Or would he be someone else? Answer that question truthfully and you'll understand.
