Anonymous Coward User ID: 77321531 Netherlands 02/08/2019 09:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Really had a bad last few days guys. Had a really amazing time in Vegas with my wife.. went to awesome dinner, sang karaoke won a little money, etc. We were both drinking pretty heavily towards the end of the night and we got in a fight over pretty much nothing.. I think she scratched my arm and I threw a shoe at her something stupid like that. Anyway, she runs out of the room and tells a security guard.. next thing I know there are 4 police officers interrogating me on what happened in the room. They say they saw evidence of scratches on my arm and nothing on her so they cuffed her and put her in holding along with hookers, drug dealers and just the most insane people in Vegas. She didn't make bail for 48 hours and it was set at $3000! She said the conditions were beyond horrific inside.. no access to clean water, dog food served every 10 hours.. people tied up to chairs and put in Silence of the Lambs style masks just screaming the entire time. Forced inoculation shots & drugs. Long story short - - we both have to go to counseling and our marriage is on the rocks.. Still have to pay crazy amounts in lawyer fees and are banned from a few Casinos.. Again over practically nothing. A minor drunken argument. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77074350 |

As far as domestic violence is concerned though, yeah if you attack me I might still throw a shoe. I don't think its fair if she instigates violence to just sit there and let her get hit after hit in. I suppose I could just run or something.. what's the proper protocol? The proper protocol is to leave, go for a walk... and wait until she's calmed. I could be breathing fire for five or ten minutes, but after that I'm calmed so you better run because only ashes will be left... but a hug or a simple "sorry" do wonders! Man that's unrealistic. You've never been married have you? Yeah... I'm married... and about to get a divorce... so, I know what I'm talking to It's funny that not too long ago, you were talking about how wonderful your man is in the midst of calling most people on here racists. So what happened to your marriage? Did your husband finally decide to not take you being a cunt and start seeing other women? I can understand his plight if that's the case. Oh and go make me a burrito, bitch... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77074350 This is true, whoever has evidence of physical bodily harm is the one who will get the sympathy, regardless of gender, the other person will get into trouble. I had bruises all over my arm once, yet my ex husband was trying to say it me, that I had had been the one to initiate, that I thrown a pan at him, but it didnt matter, I was the injured one! I wish you luck with your counselling, and hope it all works out for both of you :) You definitely both need it. Next time remain calm for goodness sake! |

She thinks her daddy is the government. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77178982 In fact, she's barely a human being and more like an automated beep beep boob that's malfunctioning. Which is why they put her in a box with the other misfires. There are instances you have to call for assistance, like if someone is legit beating you. But in OP's wife case, she (and he) were definitely acting like a brats. What else can you expect from drunkards? lol |

Never call the cops over crap like this.. especially in a lock up happy place like the strip. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77074350 state law in nevada says if they witness sign of physical violence the other party must be arrested its not an option to the cop if they want to keep their job and their bodycam footage will support that evidence. the lesson you should have learned was to keep your fucking hands to yourself I just through a shoe, lol - no hands on anybody. I think she scratched me by accident just running out the door. Point in case in this entire post is that the world is a sick place and police are almost never there to help you. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27618422 1.Just before the counseling session, get a friend to slap you in the face as hard as he can. 2.On the way there ask her to hold onto your wallet for you , tell her it keeps slipping out of your pocket ( this will be important later ). 3.A small dab of liquid soap rubbed into your finger tip can be used to irritate your eye's so it looks like you've been crying. 4.During the session act timid and ALWAYS glance her way before meekly answering any of the therapists questions. 5.At some point in the session tell the therapist you want to show her the credit card the fight was over AND ASK YOUR WIFE FOR YOUR WALLET. 6.Mouth the words "Help Me." when your wife isn't looking. |

Clark County is 'pressing charges' not you, but you are the only witness. Did she already plead guilty? If so, that was so stupid. Make it go to trial and if their witness (you) doesn't show up, it will be dismissed.. unless she's already accepted some plea deal, then you must never have weapons in your house again and she will have a violent criminal record for a long time that will show up on background checks.
