Really had a bad last few days guys. Had a really amazing time in Vegas with my wife.. went to awesome dinner, sang karaoke won a little money, etc. We were both drinking pretty heavily towards the end of the night and we got in a fight over pretty much nothing.. I think she scratched my arm and I threw a shoe at her something stupid like that. Anyway, she runs out of the room and tells a security guard.. next thing I know there are 4 police officers interrogating me on what happened in the room. They say they saw evidence of scratches on my arm and nothing on her so they cuffed her and put her in holding along with hookers, drug dealers and just the most insane people in Vegas. She didn't make bail for 48 hours and it was set at $3000! She said the conditions were beyond horrific inside.. no access to clean water, dog food served every 10 hours.. people tied up to chairs and put in Silence of the Lambs style masks just screaming the entire time. Forced inoculation shots & drugs. Long story short - - we both have to go to counseling and our marriage is on the rocks.. Still have to pay crazy amounts in lawyer fees and are banned from a few Casinos.. Again over practically nothing. A minor drunken argument.

state law in nevada says if they witness sign of physical violence the other party must be arrested its not an option to the cop if they want to keep their job and their bodycam footage will support that evidence.

What you need to do is.

1.Just before the counseling session, get a friend to slap you in the face as hard as he can.

2.On the way there ask her to hold onto your wallet for you , tell her it keeps slipping out of your pocket ( this will be important later ).

3.A small dab of liquid soap rubbed into your finger tip can be used to irritate your eye's so it looks like you've been crying.

4.During the session act timid and ALWAYS glance her way before meekly answering any of the therapists questions.

5.At some point in the session tell the therapist you want to show her the credit card the fight was over AND ASK YOUR WIFE FOR YOUR WALLET.

6.Mouth the words "Help Me." when your wife isn't looking.

OP, you are the state's only witness. Clark County is 'pressing charges' not you, but you are the only witness.

Did she already plead guilty? If so, that was so stupid.

Make it go to trial and if their witness (you) doesn't show up, it will be dismissed.. unless she's already accepted some plea deal, then you must never have weapons in your house again and she will have a violent criminal record for a long time that will show up on background checks.

Ohh no man, she didn't plead anything. We hired a lawyer for $500 to be there in our absence since we live in another state. Plead is going to be not guilty.. and like you said will get thrown out immediately. lawyer said for another $400 she could get it expunged from her records.We make good money, own our own business so this side of it really isn't a problem. It's just the shit she already had to see was violent and completely unnecessary. If I could I'd sue the Clark County police department I would.
